We build records that can be checked, not records that must be believed

DSX Technology is an Australian engineering company building verifiable-record infrastructure. VeriV is our platform. The idea underneath it is narrow and old-fashioned: a record should carry its own proof — who signed it, what it said, and when — so that anyone can check it without needing to trust the system that stored it. We started from published international standards rather than from a product idea, and we have stayed there. Most of what we do is unglamorous work on signatures, custody chains and human sign-off gates, because that is where verifiability actually comes from.

Standards pedigree

We implement standards, and we work with the people who wrote them.

Standards work is slow and mostly invisible from the outside. It is also the only reason a record we sign can be verified by someone who has never heard of us.

  • ISO/IEC 20248:2022. VeriV's signed records use ECDSA-P256 DigSig under ISO/IEC 20248. The implementation was built from co-research and testing with a co-author of the standard, ongoing since 2017. Our records are conformant with it and have been independently reviewed.
  • Standards Australia IT-034. Founder Nathawat (Nix) Pokasamrith is a member of the IT-034 panel, which covers automatic identification and data capture technologies.
  • The University of Queensland is our academic research partner.

Where the technology stands

We are specific about maturity, because vagueness here wastes everyone's time.

VeriV is at TRL 6–7 — demonstrated in a relevant operating environment. A live industrial platform runs at veriv.io today and exercises the same record architecture end to end: signed records, append-only ledger, human-signed gates, smartphone verification. Applications in other domains, including examinations and credentials, are at pilot and research stage and we describe them that way.

Information security is managed against ISO 27001 as a roadmap commitment.

How we work

Most engagements start as a consulting conversation rather than a procurement exercise: we map a client's existing record flow, identify where signature gates belong, and work out what a first signed batch or first signed cohort would actually look like in their operation. Only then does software enter the discussion.

We do not publish customer names, logos or testimonials. Our engagements to date have been with industrial operators in refining, catalyst recovery and materials processing, and we describe them only in anonymised terms. Verification claims should stand on the mathematics and the standard, not on a wall of logos — and clients who trust us with custody data are entitled to expect that we do not treat them as marketing material.

Two constants across everything we build: every record is signed by a named, authorised human, and AI is assistive only — it can flag a variance for a person to examine, and it signs nothing.
