What this page does
This page runs one check: it takes a signed record and confirms whether the signature on it is valid and the contents are unaltered.

You do not need an account, and you do not need to be a VeriV customer to use it.
What the result means
- Valid
- the signature checks out and the record is byte-for-byte what was signed. Nothing in it has been altered since the signer applied their signature. The result shows who signed it and when.
- Invalid
- the signature does not match the record. Something has changed, or the record was never properly signed in the first place. This is a definite negative, not an ambiguous one: an invalid result means this record should not be relied upon.
- Disputed
- the signature is intact, but the record has been formally challenged and is under review. Any record can be disputed within a formally defined window after entry. A disputed record has not been withdrawn — the ledger is append-only, so nothing is deleted — but it carries an open question you should be aware of before acting on it.
What this demo does not prove
Being honest about scope matters more here than sounding impressive.
- This is a read-only demo running against the live verification service. It checks record integrity and signature validity — nothing more.
- A valid signature proves that a specific signer signed this exact content. It does not, on its own, prove the physical material in front of you matches that record. That link is made by the secure NFC tag and the security gates behind it, which is why a full verification happens on a tap, not a paste.
- The demo does not display the complete custody history, pipeline gates or assay chain held in the platform.
- Nothing here changes any record. You cannot create, correct or dispute a record from this page.
Privacy
Nothing you paste into this page is stored.
The record is checked and the result is returned. We do not retain the record, log its contents, or attach it to you. If you close the tab, there is nothing left behind.
